IT Actuarial System Analyst - Actuarial AIG Analytics & Services Private Limited 2 - 3 yrs Bengaluru
- Bachelor degree in Computer Science & Engineering with 2-3 years of industry experience. Demonstrates complete understanding of different types of traditional and adaptive SDLC models (example: Waterfall, Spiral, Agile etc.). Demonstrates knowledge and experience of all of the following project methodology phases: requirements gathering, development, unit testing, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, regression testing, cutover and production support. Efficient in scripting languages like PowerShell, Perl, UNIX etc. Hands on experience in SFTP tools like Ipswitch, FileZilla, Toad etc. Demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft Tools: Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint Demonstrates knowledge in DevOps, TFS (Team Foundation Server), Git Version Control, Windows server 2012 R2. Highly proficient in SQL server, RDBMS, Oracle. Self-directed, pro-active, self-starter who excels in an environment with limited supervision Excellent written and oral communication skills along with good documentation skills.
- Ownership of application support activities during offshore time (India) in order to maintain round the clock DevOps application support. Manage the application infrastructure services in collaboration with onsite team members. Enhance the existing DevOps and version control platform to make it more robust and autonomous. Facilitate coordination with 3rd Party vendor support team as needed Manage the existing document control system by incorporating more processes and practices for the creation, review, modification, issuance, distribution, and accessibility of documents. Liaise with Actuaries to provide technical solutions to business requirements, problems and troubleshooting opportunities Engage in additional data mapping activities as required to document the dataflow functionality across Experience Studies systems. Provide assistance to construct Experience Studies data dictionary in accordance with the business requirement.
