Job Description
- Ensuring Planning, scheduling and procuring the materials based on the lead time & production plan 2. Verifying shortage of materials based on reports and approval of monthly purchase 3. Track and monitor the monthly purchase values and device strategies to reduce the costs 4. Approving invoices for payment 5. Monitoring and analyzing the inventory according to the classes (ABC) of the material 6. Monitoring the inventory days and Inventory turn days according to the organization standard. 7. Handling escalations from buyers / Vendors 8. Co-ordinating with QA for quality related issues. 9. Monitoring monthly Vendor rating and further actions towards Vendor improvement / Rationalization 10. Analysis on Fast moving , non moving , slow moving materials and further action 11. Co-coordinating with BD ,PPC ,Production ,Quality & Finance Departments for smooth functioning of the materials function 12. Business process review on continuous basis 13. Professional development of subordinates
